Yamaha officially launched a new range model "YZF-R15" in Taiwan. Limited stocks will be available at Taiwanese YMS from now on.

Looking forward markets of domestic light sports bike for many years, Yamaha Motor Taiwan will continue to create KANDO of riding and will introduce iconic sport bike "YZF-R" series of lightweight series — "YZF-R15", by utilizing out-and out "R DNA" and high-standard riding equipment to meet the expectations and eagerness of domestic consumers of entering the "R" world.

The appearance of the "YZF-R15" is derived from the Yamaha MotoGP factory bike "YZR-M1". Through the aerodynamic design of low wind resistance, mated to a sportscar-like driver interface, it creates a heavy-duty visual experience. "YZF-R15" is powered by a 155c.c. liquid-cooled four-stroke high-performance engine, equipping with DiASil die-casting aluminum-silicon alloy cylinders, forged pistons, and VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) variable valve lift technology to strike a well-balance between excellent output of ACC and the top rank of seven-phase energy efficiency performance.

Inheriting the family's outstanding performance pedigree, "YZF-R15" is equipped with a number of advanced steering equipment, including “Deltabox” frame, which is also adopted to premium models of "YZF-R" series, aluminum alloy rear swing arm and multi-link rear suspension provides a stable riding feeling under high speed; standard 282mm front brake disc and ABS anti-lock brake system provide stable braking effect during deceleration; sliding clutch design provides light and pressure-free operating feeling.

The 2021 model "YZF-R15" will provide a single color of "Racing Blue". Keeping the brand's well-known Yamaha Racing Blue colorway, matching the front and rear wheels with the same blue paint to presents a strong competitive atmosphere while being highly recognizable.
